India At its 65th Independence Day Eve

Yes it is a great moment of pride for all Indians across the globe on the eve of 15th august , as we mark upon  the history our 65th years of independence.
As i was referring the news paper the day after the independence i.e 16th August ,what struck my eyes was the headline referring the fact addressed by our pm at the redfort on 15th quoted as "Treat slow growth rate as national security issue" ....Is it really true that slow growth rate should be referred as a positive sign for national security ?? well the answers to this is quite a irrational one or rather confusing i should say For a matter of fact this might be the only answer to all the questiones which are put before our present government
that what we have actually achieved after 7 years of political stability .Yes i am refering the fact that it has been 7 lean years since Dr Manmohan Singh (UPA) was elected as our PM  and now he is Currently undergoing his  2nd term as Prime Minister....the statistics suggest that with him as our pm India has  witnessed a growth of 6.8% which account for a huge success in both social and economic sector .And also it is quite true that globally we are being recognized as a one of the major economics sector.... Although my  ability to interpret the stats and figures regarding the growth or downfall in any sector and in terms of  economics, are quite limited to be specific till 10th class only(i took economics as an optional subject in class 10th ,but left it due to its hard terminology and data interpretation) but i shall try to interpret  few of those in this blog  .

While reading ahead the next column on the news paper the next highlighted headline was that "CWG Probe makes no headway in 2Year's"...Ah ..One cannot forget the so called commonwealth game played in India few months back as they have provided us with much amusement and controversies to this date, it had been a topic of great debate and confusion among countrymen and government .Now it has been quite a long time  since these games were played, outcome of which has been quite controversial.People have forgotten the number of medals we won, but what remain in there memory is the figure of money in crores which was looted during those Godforsaken hours .One famously Quoted that event as "INDIA SHINING OR INDIA LOOTING".Perhaps this looting was classified as a peaceful one, unlike the one that happened on the streets of Great Britain few months back that engulfed the whole little island.(I used the word little in comparison with the size of India). To show that we care for India the government took some responsible steps, arresting some people, probing an inquiry on the managing committee ,but nevertheless it has been two year since and on the contrary  we all know that these are some unaimed temprorary measures to provide a sense of assurance to people. Not only this how can i not forget to put up the 2G Scam episode.well scam was one its kind which is not resolved yet .With this scam there was quite a scalable loss running into Billions Dollars occurred to the country
This loss has proven to be one of the biggest scams that rocked the nation more than anything else if compared to.For sure that scam has discouraged some of the future foreign investments that would have helped in economic growth as this scam has portrayed a coruppt image of India Globally The country witnessed a glimpse of so called Organized Crime which involved many gov ,business and media personalities involved in this .this scam has come up as one well sorted out organized crimes where reigns are controlled by many businessmen , beaurocrats and bahubalies Seemingly this has brought to us the fact that there are some in the corporate world to who are doing the illegal thing ,promoting corruption on a very large scale .Since then trial hve been done against the accused but no final verdict has been given on that . To sum up the whole of the stories above  i.e 2G scam and CWG probe the PM at the red fort said "We are taking the strictest possible action in cases of corruption that have surfaced. These cases are sub-judice and hence I will say nothing more on this subject"...To me this seemed to be a sort of formality to assure the people that they have not forgotten the issue and we are on it till it is resolved .....But we all know the end result of it

It is well versed among the people that corruption has been a subject of great concerned that need atmost attention .For a government which is governing 120 crore people it is impossible to go for the public opinion on any major political issue .For such an issue a committee should be established which shall lay down the principles and procedures so as to counter the growing corruption ...This might be one of the solution which shall ensure a better future for the country  in the coming year's

Uffffffffff........it seems I have said quite a lot on the negative aspect hence now i shall take the privilege to talk about our achievements so far this year . Looking into a brighter side ,I can conclude the fact that there had been a significant growth in the agriculture sector  which is the backbone of our nation...The production of food grains has been at a record level. Wheat, maize,  pulses and oil-seeds have all seen record levels of production. It is because of the hard work of our farmers that today there are proposals for export of food grains, sugar and cotton. The problem of rise in the price of  food grains can be controlled by rise in the productivity level ...and also we are on the verge of our second green revolution which will surely contribute towards economic growth .So was the development in the fields of education and health ..The government has promised that no child shall be left behind ,all will be provided with primary education .  Also we did quite well in the recent summer Olympics  in London ,although we only won 5 medals in overall tournament ,but nevertheless it has paved the way for future development  in the field of sports by the Indian government

Its was Quite evident that the Lokpal bill had to be a subject of the PM Speech ...I am very glad that this topic was also spoken for in front of the nation with a desire to implement it .In his speech the pm has made it clear that we need a  strong lokpal bill that should cover all the difference in the opinion regarding it .Thus it has proven to be one of the positive aspect in the Kings Speech that has at last assure us that we are on our way to make a corruption free India

Lastly I would like to quote the words spoken by our PM at red fort before ending the speech "It is not an ordinary achievement  for our democracy with a population of 120 crore and so many religions, languages and cultures to march rapidly ahead on the path of development. I congratulate the people of India on this achievement. But we must ensure that inequalities do not increase even as we develop rapidly. We have embarked on a journey to transform our huge and diverse country through rapid development. A development which benefits every citizen of  the country. It is natural that tensions would sometimes arise in this process of change. In a democracy, such tensions also become issues of political polarization. We should endeavor that even as political parties oppose and engage in debate against each other, the pace of our progress does not get  affected...Let us all resolve to build a bright future for our country".....

Anna Hazare -The Man on the Edge ..!!

Perhaps it was an unusual Thursday evening I was going back home, enroute at Rajiv Chowk metro station where i found something strange and unusual among the crowd .Well it was not that we had won another cricket match or another medal at London Olympic or people wearing Gandhi topi ,shouting slogans in praise of Anna hazare which by the way was something i had been witnessing since the day Anna went on fasting at Jantar Mantar. There was a sense of victory or rather i should say an achievement among the people which could have only puzzled me The only thing i could figure out was  that something went on the unusual way resulting in something which was never meant to happen in a right way ....I know that i am a fool to have think of the fact that the government has bowed down to the Anshan(Fasting) by anna hazare and has agreed to accept the Lokpal bill..but probably that was the only think that came into my mind ...by the time i was in the train ,under curiosity  i took my cell and went on to have a look on the latest news and to my utter amazement it all came up-to me with a surprise that ,Anna has decided to call of the Anshan and has decided to make a political party to finish the corruption from within the gov by being a part of it ....

Well that was something that i could have never thought of in a million years ..It seems that India is nearly impossible to understand and so does the Indians ..At one time the movement which spread in the whole country like a plague, was put to a halt by a conclusion that it is a waste of time and moreover the new direction of the movement was to make a political party and contest for 2014 elections .I do agree the fact that the end result of the movement till now were not significant and that this new decision will surely bring a new hope to the people ,but it has also made us clear that we have to go a long way to achieve what we desire .It took sometime  for the Team Anna Hazare to realize that it is impossible to end corruption by mere fasting or protesting against government .To root corruption out of the system, one has to be part of the
democratic process, and change the nature of the beast from within.

Once the team anna have formed there new party they shall very much be entitled to question the system and take decision but my question is from where shall Team Anna raise funds to contest for the election .As far as the popularity is concerned we cannot deny the fact that this is once such movement which has gained much popularity and audience right from mountainous tips of Kashmir to southern most tip of Kanyakumari .Extending its appeal nation wide is quite tedious ,but it is necessary for longevity and continuity .It was quite a flop when it tried to expand its base in south , but nevertheless  Anna has adherent following in lakhs in northern India .This could possibly be one factor that could help them win but ,political funding is one such thing that determines the political winner .In order to contest fairly which i believe is impossible in India Team Anna requires funds ....From where they shall raise funds.....???   Is it through the wealthy people or through some online donation sort of thing (Well the online donation was a part of Obama fund rasier for campaing his presidential election ) Gaining funds through masses transparently could for sure help them in a great deal

Its a tedious journey which team Anna has embarked upon. Full of obstacles and filth. Urban middle class and young will support to some extent but what about rural and poor population which has majority. Selection of candidates is also very tricky. Existing political sharks," Bahubalis" will exploit the feeble newly born politicians of Team Anna.

I sincerely  pray that the mission on which  Team Anna is set upon  gets success in near future ......
