Made in Italy ....

So finally it has been proven that

"Almost all Italian products have proved costlier to India, specially when they come via Congress Govt"

Here we are not talking about the famous Italian Apparel Brands like Gucci,Prada or Armani this in reference with the recent chopper scam that has been brought to our notice ...Well of course one cannot deny the fact that we are so used to these things that it has become a regular daily dose of our newspaper, I think there should be a weekly column or a section in the news paper that should be permanently reserved for the news like these (scams)  I am quite sure that section or the column would always be occupied but nevertheless one cannot ignore this as well....The deal was worth 750 million euros for the 12 choppers that were to be used to ferry the VVIP's .Well the ride has just become costlier and probably the VVIP's would have yo wait more ....
Quite a controversy this scam has turned out to be as it now not only involves the political party at stake but also put the patriotism and the loyalty of the Gandhi family towards the nation .....Clearly the Bofor scandal and this Chopper scam have turned out to be similar types of scams that have endangered the national security .Recent media speculations states that the Bofor  scandal involved an Italian company and this time to the same has happened
On a further note India is the world's largest weapons importer and has a long history of corruption in defense deals. A multi-million dollar scandal in the 1980's over the purchase of Swedish Bofors artillery guns contributed to an electoral defeat for then-Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, of the Congress party. It seems to me that the history might repeat itself this time as well .
"The helicopters which even the US found expensive were bought by our poor nation for our VVIPs, " was quoted by Mr Kejriwal of the Aam Aadmi Party ...sadly if this is true then our politicians and the government owe an explanation to the country as to why the tax payer money is being misused...??
